This product is between a regular mascara and waterproof mascara. It wears like a waterproof mascara.

Hi Arlene. The Bombshell Mascara isn't considered waterproof, but it acts very much like a waterproof mascara in regards to its longevity. In other words, it lasts quite awhile and must be removed with an oil-based makeup remover. While it wouldn't be ideal for swimming per say, it's appropriate for light rain and/or drizzle. Despite some of the bad reviews on here I don't hate it!. When I first bought it and applied, it clumped, but then I found out that when I comb through my lashes and rotate the brush going root to tip, it separated, and did NOT clump, and looks full!

I read a lot of review for all over any web and most of they complain about clean them off so hard, before I decide purchase i thinks it will be perfect for me and i am ready for take it of at the end of the day either too hard ... But very surprise it easy to take it of during shower with Neutrogena fresh forming cleanser .... so I love it , all day long ,no smear , no mess under eye, thanks Covergirl.....I will purchase again.......

Love this mascara! My eyes really open up and look much bigger. Plus it stays on all day and doesn't get clumpy! I love the two parts to it too -- the top coat and then the volumizing one!

Im sad they pulled this from our stores shelves so I order it which is fine cuz its cheaper but I just have to say I hope they never just continue this mascara because it's the only mascara that works for my eyelashes and I love the formula yes it's hard to get off but if you using oil-based makeup remover like the packaging says you'll be just fine !

I like layering mascaras but usually don't get good results. I love that this combines 2 mascaras you know will work together.

CoverGirl Bombshell Volume Mascara is a Great Product!! for those females who don't
want to wear or pay for "false eyelashes'. I am a 'mascara gal' and I have purchased
(thru the yearssss) many brands of mascara - CoverGirl got it! I can compare this product
to the high-end store brands (ie Lancôme, MAC and etc.).

P.S. I never wore or purchased CoverGirl mascara, but several weeks ago, I read an article
featuring Sophia Vergara and she mentioned that CoverGirl Bombshell Volume Mascara was
her mascara choice. I decided to buy it and surprisingly its a very good product and the
price is very reasonable.

Great mascara!

This is the most amazing mascara!  It goes on smooth, not clumpy. Two steps to apply. Makes your lashes look dark and thick.   It truly is waterproof.   My only two complaints are the tube is super thick so it's hard to control wand bc the the actual brush is attached to a short stick. I prefer longer wands so it took time to get used to that. The other complaint is it's very hard to get off eyelashes. It will wear all night long though.
