As each page passes through the print assembly of your printer, some toner fails to adhere to the page. Preventing damage to your printer, this waste toner is diverted to a special storage bin to be held. As this bin fills up over time, it's necessary to replace it at 30,000 page intervals to keep your printer in top condition.
