My face got all flakey and dry this never happened to me before using other primers.never again am I using this brand again.

Not as a standalone product without foundation, no. You have to use foundation on top of this product to get the pore-appearance-lessening benefit. However, wearing foundation over this product made my foundation look unnatural and go on funky.  :(

Does it help minimize the appearance of pores?

Yes. In the summer my kin is olier than usual. I use it under revlon colorstay and it last beyond 8 hours. Love love this product!!!

My face always gets oily at about noon with my foundation and am I glad I bought this primer. It kept the shine off my face and after a long day and I looked in the mirror, my makeup was still sitting pretty.(lol). I would definitely recommend this to anyone that has an oily skin.

Great product - works well at keeping matte finish even with mineral base/minimizes pores all for a very affordable price.  I have very sensitive skin (red head) and it works better on not irritating my skin better than much more expensive brands that claim they are for sensitive skin.

I WORE THIS FOR MY CHEM LAB AND IT GOT ME THROUGH THE ENTIRE DAY. I have very oily skin I think this is very good for oily skin. I pair with elf primer grip and it was perfection. Made my makeup transfer proof through out the whole day. I even laid on my white pillow and nothing transferred. To make sure it works the best make sure to as an oily skin USE POWDER AND TWO ROUNDS OF SETTING SPRAY and you will not be disappointed.

Works well with sensitive skin, works better if you are using facial night creams for pores and wrinkles. By itself it works for about 5-6 hours, with a nighttime skin care routine, it works much, much longer.
