NO I have very dry skin and it just makes it worse.

I have skin that is very sensitive to comedogenic products, and this product does not irritate my skin at all.

No longer than any other decent drugstore primer would. It is one of my favorite cheap primers though so I still recommend trying it out =)

This affordable primer gave me just as good of results as other primers I have used that are twice the price.

Great product

I bought this primer after searching top rated primers and looking at many reviews. This is a great product! It works as a moisturizing primer. I apply liquid foundation over the primer and my makeup looks smooth and fresh all day. It keeps my nose and face from looking shiny and oily. It feels soft and smooth on my face. I love it and I love the price! I have also tried the expensive POREfessional  primer. It also keeps my makeup smooth and mate however it doesn't moisturize my skin like the Rimel Fix & Perfect Property Primer does. So after a comparison I am happier with the RimelFix primer and use it every day.

Great Primer

This was the first primer that I ever purchased. On a trip I forgot to pack this primer, so bought an ELF brand at the airport. The Rimmel FIX & PERFECT  was far superior.  I can wear it without foundation and it makes my skin look much smoother and glowing.  With foundation, this primer truly does make the foundation last longer. Recently, I ran out and the ELF brand  just was not doing it for me.  I asked a friend for a primer recommendation, since she is really into cosmetics. She recommended Laura Mercier.  Hints, I dished out the money and ordered a Laura Mercier primer. While the LM primer is better than ELF, it just didn't compare to Rimmel FIX & PERFECT primer.  While I will occasionally use the Laura primer, I bought another tube of Rimmel primer.

I have tried so many primers over the years for my combo skin, but this Rimmel one is absolutely my favorite. It's not too slippery/silicone-y, but it does spread really easily and helps makeup go on more smoothly. It helps my makeup last longer and keeps my face more matte/less oily throughout the day. It also doesn't have a fragrance, and it doesn't pill up like some other mattifying primers do. It really is the perfect primer for me.

This is the first primer I've gotten that actually controls my oil, and keeps my makeup in place. I'm a very oily woman, and not even MAC has stopped my oils, I won't use anything else. I used it with my BB cream and it's beautiful! It makes me want to wear foundation again! (which is saying alot since I don't wear or own foundation) Rimmel, PLEASE  DON'T EVER DISCONTINUE THIS!! If you're a very oily woman like me, this primer is a God send. ♡♡♡♡♡♡

My holy grail primer! Won't use ANYTHING else!

This is one of the only primers that withstands my extremely oily skin, and I have tried EVERYTHING. Really great quality, especially for the price. I have found product inconsistencies from store to store, however. I like this one a little better than the Stay Matte primer just because it smooths pores a little bit better. Takes considerably longer to dry than the Stay Matte though.

Smoothing & excellent oil control

I love this base!  1 is super cheap!  2 your skin absorbs it perfectly 3 I have used it with different makeup bases and it looks perfectly 4 my skin looks matte, 0 gloss or oily it looks very healthy !!

I like the fact that it works well to keep my foundation set but it dries out my face too much and I have combination oily skin.  If you use it, I recommend using a moisturizer under the primer like I have to.

I was looking for a cheaper primer so I tried this one, and it didn't work out so well.
I love the fact that this product is creamy and smells nice, but it could not hold up to our Texas hotness and humidity. I absolutely love "prime time" by bare minerals, but it's so pricey for a small tube and daily use. I might have to bite the bullet and dish out the extra money for "prime time", but I will continue my search for a good holding primer that counts less.
