This lotion is described as a healing moisture lotion that uses Barrier Restore Complex. It claims to transform very dry skin in 5 days. This is fragrance free and dermatologist tested. I have psoriasis on my hands and it did not irritate it. It's also hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin. I found it to be non-greasy and there was no leftover residue. It absorbed quickly on the skin and I could put on my clothes almost immediately after applying this product. Vaseline Must Have Lotion for Winter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was chosen to get a free bottle of the Vaseline Extreamly Dry Skin Resue for reviewing purposes through the Viewpoints sampling program. I have combination skin that is also very sensitive, this lotion has left my skin looking and feeling amazing! This lotion is very light and it absorbs into my skin beautifully. It does more than just masking my dry skin, it has repaired my skin so It not only looks better but it helps keep the moisture in my skin so It feels just as great as it looks! I'm not having to spend half my day reapplying lotions that don't work and itching my skin raw, I can wear summer cloths and be proud to show off my skin!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a sample to try and wouldn't have thought to pick up Vaseline (used it a lot growing up but I have really dry skin and Lubriderm was better later on). But this new product is pretty good. This is some heavy duty lotion, it goes on really easily and once it dries there is a feeling like there's something on your skin if you touch it. If you don't you can't feel it there. Living in Colorado where the air is really dry this has saved my skin. When I'm feeling extra dry, I use this for a few days and it works great. I also have eczema and while it doesn't stop the itching completely it does help alleviate some of the symptoms.

I was previously using the La Roche Posay products for sensitive skin and found that it was very effective, but on the expensive side.  I was hoping that Vaseline has come out with a product that addresses sensitive skin while providing an intense level of moisture to combat the dry winters of Toronto.  While I found that this product works well, I'm not willing to finish the product or recommend, because the product contains parabens.  Parabens are a bit of a controversial ingredient and while it makes the product feel nice and mimic high quality products but are not a quality ingredient.

I've been using this lotion every night before bed for the last couple of weeks and my hands & feet are very thankful. They aren't in pain from being so dry anymore. 

There isn't a strong smell to it. It is a little thicker then your typical moisturizing lotions, but it absorbs quickly and nicely, without leaving any sticky or oily residue. 

My husband started using it as well, and even with him being harder on his feet, wearing work boots in these Canadian winters can take a toll on his feet, it has worked so well for him!

Winter is dry, your hands don't have to be!

I can been suffering with extreme dry skin on my hands for a couple of years. My kids even hated to touch my hands cause they were so dry... literally like sand paper. I tried every product I could think of but they failed until today. I discovered this product. I can’t get over how soft my hands are right now and I m wondering why I didn’t try Vaseline products til this time. It’s an amazing cream and not greasy like some other expensive creams I used before . Well let me tell you , it’s one product that will always be in my household from now on. Thank you Vaseline for rescuing my hands and restoring them to a soft hand that everyone wants to hold.

I love that the packaging is easy to use and carry with me and the lotion isn't greasy at all. The lotion absorbs quickly into my skin and there's only a light fragrant scent that accompanies the lotion. My skin is very dry and within a week, my skin was baby soft! I would definitely recommend this product and without getting to sample this lotion through Powerreviews, I never would have known about this amazing lotion! I will definitely purchase this lotion over other brands in the future.

Heals Dry Skin!

I have extremely dry hands, especially in winter and especially when it’s this cold outside. My hands would often crack and even bleed from how bad they would get. It was really annoying me, I would constantly scratch them, and they were just getting worse, no matter what creams and lotions I tried. I can really say that this Vaseline lotion helped a lot. It completely transformed my hands in one day. I love it and highly recommend it if you have a problem similar to mine.

Lifesaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars on high end and drugstore body washes and lotions for my EXTREME psoriasis. I have also done many diy natural remedies and NOTHING helped. My boyfriend randomly bought me this because it just came out and he thought it would help. By the fifth day my skin went from tight, dry, extremely red, itchy, cracked skin to completely smooth. Usually the itching drives me INSANE but I didn’t even notice it was competent gone and the best part unlike gold bonds and aveeno is that it doesn’t burn or make you itch!
