Product description
Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips Tin has been clinically proven to help heal dry lips, and it gives your lips a natural, rosy shine. This tinted lip balm has a non-sticky formula that melts into lips to lock in moisture while enhancing your lip color. Our Vaseline lip balm tins are convenient, so you can take them with you in your bag, purse, or pocket, and moisturize whenever your lips feel dry. Natural, Rosy Shine When you have dry lips, the last thing you want is to make them worse. Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips truly moisturizes while also bringing out lips’ natural rosy tones. This tinted lip moisturizer provides a glossy look with a hint of pink – and you’ll love the scent that has elements of rose, vanilla, and red berry. Made with the Original Wonder Jelly Like all Vaseline lip products, this formula is made with pure Vaseline Jelly that has been protecting and helping to heal dry skin since 1870. This product brings you the dry skin healing benefits of our original Jelly in a formula custom designed for lips, so Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips is a lip balm you can trust. Locks in Moisture The top protective layer of skin on your lips is thinner than on the rest of your body, and can be more susceptible to dryness. Vaseline Rosy Lips tin is a moisturizing lip balm that penetrates into lips rather than simply sitting on the surface. The formula locks in moisture to support your lips’ natural recovery from dryness. Perfect for On-The-Go The elements can be hard on your lips, so it’s essential to keep them moisturized. Vaseline Lip Therapy tins are great for safeguarding your lips against the dryness often caused by weather. Available in a pocket-sized tin, Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips can be used on-the-go, whenever your lips feel dry.

I used to use various forms of chapstick until I learned that, SURPRISE, they actually dry your lips out over time. This causes a vicious cycle where you have to continue using more and more product. What a win for those companies... ugh. Even Nivea, my favourite soft chapstick, had this after-drying effect. When I moved to Calgary a few years ago, which has virtually no humidity, keeping my lips from drying and cracking became more important than ever. Eventually, I stumbled onto the old version of Vaseline Lip Therapy. It came in tiny tubs, not these newer circular containers. Compared to any chapstick I've ever used, the Lip Therapy has been a godsend.
•• New Vaseline Lip Therapy is Incredible ••
Regarding this latest product, Vaseline has stepped up their game yet again. This new lip therapy is wonderful. I can't even touch older products. In comparison, they feel gummy and heavy. I have to say it loud and proud, I absolutely LOVE this new Vaseline lip therapy. It's delightfully moistening. More importantly, it KEEPS your lips moist for hours without any drying effects.
•• Issue(s) ••
The only issue is that it comes off rather easily. If you apply it and then immediately kiss your partner (even on the cheek), you'll lose some of it. If you apply it and then drink from a coffee cup immediately, you lose some of it.
If, however, you apply it and don't do anything with your lips... that's when it lasts for hours.
•• How long does a tub last? ••
Honestly, I've used so many over the years, I'd say the average lifespan is 1 per month. Again, keep in mind that I live in Calgary. Even if I drink until I'm peeing constantly, I'm still dealing with dry skin. Therefore, I use a lot more than the average Canadian. I'll assume that 1 tub per person is good for over a month. I usually buy 3-4 at a time and keep them in different locations of the house. One stays in my coat pocket, one on my computer desk, one near the bed for sleep, etc. I rarely have to re-buy.
•• Scents ••
I've tried original, cocoa butter, and aloe.
Original: My favourite is original because it has no flavour nor smell.
Cocoa butter: Cocoa butter is a close second because it smells MILDLY of cocoa and still moistens beautifully.
Aloe: Aloe is, surprisingly, my least favourite. I usually love products with Aloe in them, but I find that the lip therapy version smells very sweet, almost perfumey to my nostrils. I've used it for about a month now, and I don't see any improvement in my lips over the other products. If you're scent averse, I'd recommend all other versions first.
Rose: The only thing I haven't tried is Rose, but people say it doesn't turn your lips red in an over the top way, and the scent is supposed to be mild as well.
•• Price ••
It took awhile for Amazon to stock this product. I used to check, and it would be like $5.65. My local Shoppers Drug Mart sells it for $3.99 on SALE, so I'm absolutely thrilled that Amazon is between $2.99 and $3.99 on the regular.
•• Conclusion ••
I know it's a large review for a simple product, but I think this stuff is friggen awesome. I always recommend it to people. It's light years ahead of chapsticks in terms of moisturization, lasts as long or longer, and is competitively cheap. Bravo Amazon. Thanks for cheapening a stellar product. May you find the moisture you've been looking for :)

I wish they weren't so expensive, as regular vaseline is so cheap. That being said, the formula in this one is a bit different, as it is less thick/sticky. I also wish it was in a tube instead of a tin, but that's fine.
It gives a little bit of a tint but nothing crazy. My derm recommended it to me and I haven't gone back since!!
Will continue buying this.
Was thrilled to be able to grab a couple for my wife to gift her boss, who loves them, and will be so disappointed in future when they are unavailable.
